HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I love the cute little gifts from my kids the best!! (Even when they come from my own flower bed :) )

We were excited to get a visit from Gramma and Grampa Child and Kaaryn in April!

LOTS of sweat, blood, and a few tears from sheer EXHAUSTION... and we tiled 800 and some sq. ft. of our home!

Ripped these tiles out not once but twice...see the finished product below.

Everybody helped....didn't get pics of it all... I was working!

Benjamin and Britain love playing the Lego Indiana Jones game on the Wii, so they wanted their room decorated with that theme...I'm

working on it.... On the left is a map and their chalkboard for their "daily mission". :) I have yet to paint the huge boulder that is rolling towards Indiana Jones (not shown).

Great grandma Schaub spent some time with us over the holiday season--it was great to see her!

I've been "reclaiming" our house...started with my bedroom, then Hallie's (see above), then the kitchen, on to the living room.... (I'll take a pic of the kitchen after Hallie washes the dishes :))

Kayle and dad found some of grandpa Rex Child's old hats while we were cleaning out Grandma's house--had to try them on!

Great grandma Child passed away at the end of October. We visited her most Sundays--this was one of our last visits for at ice cream social at her assisted living center. We miss those visits. The first Sunday after she passed away, Britain said "Now what are we going to DO on Sunday?"

Our summer vacation was spent at Warm Lake
hanging out near the water, swinging from the rope swing, hiking and relaxing!!!

Kym and Kristi and their family came to visit so we spent a day at Lucky Peak Reservoir.

Kayle and I experienced

a wonderful time in Switzerland, Germany and Austria with my mom and dad and both of my brothers and their friends and families.

Brit pretty excited to get bungee cords for his birthday--you can see those wheels turning!
